I was ten years old in May 2003 when, for the second year in a row, one of my animations won the Bronze Third Place award in the 12 and under age category at the Kalamazoo Animation Festival International held in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

 I got to meet several professional animators, and attend their workshops, at the KAFI festivals in 2002 and 2003. This is a picture of me with Disney animation supervisor Mike Belzer taken at KAFI 2003. Mr. Belzer worked at one time on the animation of the Pillsbury Doughboy, and was involved in the production of such movies as the Gumby Movie, James and the Giant Peach, Nightmare Before Christmas, Dinosaur and most recently Kangaroo Jack.
